RE: new to this boardI don't see this as being a pump and dump
I certainly hope it is a pump and dump.
This stock went from 6 cents in Nov 2005 to 76 cents in Jan 2008 because Opal found a hole with 2 trillion cubic feet of ng. That is a 1200% mark up. If it is a pump and dump then they are likely buying up cheap shares at around 3 cents and will pump the stock back up so they can get at least 5x their return. 10x their return may be more than I can hope for.
News coming?
Some news will likely occur after the initial buying has finished. The news may be real or it may be a pump. It doesn't really matter to me. Having higher energy prices will make the news more enticing.
Is this a good buy??
I loaded up at 1/2 cent, so I'm ready for the pumping to begin. The trick with penny stocks is to be patient and let the price come to you. It is a lot like fishing.
Is 3.5 cents a good buy? The price will fluctuate I think between 2 and 4 cents for the next month while they load up. It will take a lot of news to move this stock to 10 cents so I think there is still time and grab some at 2 cents later this month. No one is going to spend time pumping a stock for just a 5 cent move in the price. I expect this stock to surpass 15 cents within a year if they have the right news or newsletters. But that's just my opinion. We will have to wait and see how big a fish we can get in our boat. :-)
