To Trade or not to trade

To Trade or not to tradeDepends how you look at things. LouE's comment "most daytraders lose money" may be true....hard to confirm or deny without some kind of statistic other than brokerage house "verbage"
Yes I am upside down on my latest entry into UUU but if you take all the trades from my first 3.12 buy...work out the average since that  first purchase...I'm still in the low 5$ area.
Would I have made more buying and holding? Definately.
Would I have made more buying and holding Suncor over the last 12 month's? Definately not.
You can't be right all the time, but you must be right most of the time.
The TSX is back in overbought territory and holding long (any sector/stock/investment INCLUDING bonds) without exit points and hard stops could really take your breath away...if you know what I mean. Ask anyone still holding his 90$ Suncor stocks...or 100$ U.S. Steel.
If you are of the opinion that Uranium can't sink...you better watch the "Titanic" again.
This weeks trading in most U-Stocks are down...period. Buying stuff on a down-trend is un-wise.
Be carefull and good luck to all.
