RE: PDAC

RE: PDACIt sure would be nice to see the warrants in the money, but I'm not sure PDAC will have much of an impact. It should, but I think they're just going under the iMining banner again. I went to see them at the Vancouver show in January, but only got to talk to IR personnel. There were two IR people (Luke and I forget the woman's name), to represent the 5 companies that fly under the iMining banner. You'd have to be purposely asking questions about Starcore to learn much. There wasn't even a large sign that had the Starcore logo on it. I was disappointed at the lack of effort to gain exposure as there was no management present and how much attention can you gain with 2 IR people representing 5 companies? If someone walks by and stops to talk and see what iMining is all about, which company do they choose to talk about? Do they spread the board and alternate the company they lead out with? Try and explain them all? How can 2 people be up on every detail and production profile for all 5? I'll give them credit and say that they could answer most of my questions, but there's nothing like meeting the president or CEO. They know the story best and can probably speak with more conviction/passion than someone who's likely never even been to the mine site.
I hope they did things differently in Toronto and that Eadie is there. I understand the need to conserve cash, but they owe it to the shareholders to try and get the story better understood prior to the hedge running out. We've been patient and have stuck with them through this mess. My hope is that we'll start seeing some movement in the fall, as we'll be close to a year away from making real money at that point. As long as people are made aware of the situation, there's no way they will wait until the 11th hour before moving this thing from the 10 cent range. I'm hoping the dime range stays for another month or two, as I'm getting close to taking some profits in a few other stocks. I'd like to get fully loaded here for 10 cents. The price of gold will eventually get this pig to fly.
