RE: RE: RE: RE: The Mistake -S8Come on everyone.  We lurch from unbridled (meaning unrealistic) enthusiasm to ridiculous pessimism.

There was never any hope that you'd get something for nothing.  How in the hell did you connvince yourself that this was going to be a $.50 share (or even $1) without paying the piper?   If these assets were expected to be so wonderful, why didn't you ask yourself why they would give them to VER for nothing.

VER had not a pot to piss in other than the ability to quickly access extremely risk tolerant and deep capital markets used to investing in high risk commodity plays.  Which was enough for them to agree to dance with VER, but give them 50% just for showing up?  Fat chance.

Why is it so surprising that they'd have to put out 100m shares or so to raise enough capital to shoot several million in 3D seismic and drill a few wells to elevate their share price enough to do it again with a lot less shares?

Get real.   VER did better than I gave them credit for.  So much so that I bought a few at levels above where I sold them when they had nothing.

Regards,
Naamkat
