RE: OIl Price Decline - No Way

RE: OIl Price Decline - No WaySwister - you are absolutely right of course.  Demand for oil will indeed go up not down.
I remember a number of years back in the UK ,at the start of a recession (not the recent one) - some experts said  <sell all your retail stocks - consumers have no money to buy>.   My own assessment was that in times or recession supermarkets would do well as people tend to turn to food for comfort when they lack the feel good factor.
Anyway the sheep followed the experts advice of course and all retail including supermarkets took a big hit.  Surprise surprise a month or so later another expert advised that, unlike most retail,  supermarkets were doing well and should have gone up.  Needless to say very quickly after that they did.
Having bought in when they were trashed - I did very nicely.
So the moral of the story is - frustrating as the spin can often be when you know full well its completely wrong - just turn it to your advantage.
I cant say exactly when, but the truth about the oil demand will emerge at some point and we  will all be well rewarded.
