Saladin Province Council decided on Tuesday to form committees in order to negotiate with Kurdistan region government about drilling for oil in Tozkhormato region and to set the administrative borders in addition to finding a common mechanism to manage the security file therein.
Province Council member Damen Alaiwi told Alsumarianews that the province council decided to form a committee to negotiate with Kurdistan region regarding drilling for oil in Tozkhormato region in order to give people living in that region the right to make use of this resource as stipulated in the Iraqi constitution and law.
