mlucciMy first comment about management would be that I have learned from bitter experience that it is way easier to be the person rocking the boat than the person who has to row the boat. Decisions made by capable people to keep things moving forward are not always clear to those of us, whom by virtue of our investment, get to watch them struggle to make us money while we get to criticize them for not being quicker about it.
I am not a pundit, I am a shareholder, and I did my due diligence in my own way. Basically I went to people I respect in various industries and asked them their opinions. That may not always be the best approach but a CV on a website tells very little and I do not want to judge solely on this company's performance to date because that does not always reflect the potential of the person. Let’s face it Mario Andretti driving a car with engine problems will not give you a true picture of the man's potential as a race car driver but people who know him can vouch for his ability.
The feedback I got was that the people involved are very capable people and have connections with other capable people (a key thing for me). If they have a product that is worthy they will make it work. The search for a worthy product and the development/marketing of that product may not be a direct line and I think we have ample evidence of that but the fact of the matter is that right now I think these people and this product are worthy of my investment dollar.
Now ask me that same question a year from now and I hope to be able to brag on my wise decision.
