Steve Nash brings way more than just Canadian content. His family is from South Africa, where he has a huge following and he speaks Afrikaans (which is available on Ortsbo. I have used it to talk with a few friends to test run it).
I agree that socder is the most popular sport worldwide, but I also know that a huge proportion of soccer fans do not have internet access or even a computer. Basketball is very big in Europe and they all have different languages and most have computers as they are not 3rd world. This was a good move to bring in Steve Nash.
