RE: RE: Gazprom still interested in Kudu

RE: RE: Gazprom still interested in KuduIm certain that Gazprom and other companies follows the development in Namibia closely.
Recently a lot of companies have taken interest in licenses in Namibia, soon there wont be more free licenses left.
Most recently Global Petroleum has bought some licenses near Walvis Ridge. We all know about Petrobras
and HRT.I think its very interesting that Gazprom abandonded the idea of producing electricity from Kudu and that
they still seems to be interested in the license. That could mean that they are planning to export gas throug FLNG teqnique.A lot of experts are of the opinion that the hydrocarbon accumulations in Namibia mainly consists of gas due to the lack of a salt layer. In the next year more than 7 wells are planned to be drilled in Namibia so we will
know soon.If there is a lot of gas accumulations in Namibia it would be much more profitable to invest in FLNG
teqnique than building a gas-electric powerplant with limited capacity.
If the gas in 1711 proves commercial it would be very positive if an infrastructure for FLNG already was in place,
it would be better than if a powerplant was built. The powerplant would only need gas from Kudu.
If Gazprom is interested in a few tcf in Kudu every logic tells that they are keeping their eyes on other potentially much larger fields.I also think they are keeping an eye on Chariots and Tower licenses that could contain gigantic
amounts of gas especially in Towers blocks.
