RIM problems not WIN's

RIM problems not WIN'sAnyone who thinks that RIM's problems can result in any kind of donwdraft for WIN should think again.

The bottom line is that if someong buys a cell, they will buy it, whether or not its a Blackberry or whatever.  Either way, WIN gets its royalty.

In fact, RIM's problems increase the likelihood that they replace any lost revenue with patent license revenue.  In my view a RIM-WIN bid for Nortel patents is even more likely now.
The acquisition is not a panacea for RIM, but could be part of the solution.
