RE: NKO pleads means nothingI don't like corruption but sometimes in order to get things done in certain countries you have no choice. If you don't partake then you will not get the necessary clearances, etc. The officials are corrupt and they will block any clearances or whatever UNTIL you bribe them. That's how the system works! It's terrible - the countries' top government officials should clamp down on these things but they are probably corrupt too! So what is one to do? Either you do NO business in the country OR "be like the Romans when in Rome" ... Terrible, just terrible. NIKO getting charged will probably not make any difference to NIKO - its a cost of doing business ... and IMO most investors know this too... I don't know the facts around this whole thing I am just generally talking about the problems that companies encounter many times when dealing with foreign government officials.
