Investor Relations Manager
Fire River Gold has an immediate need for an Investor Relations Manager, based in Vancouver, reporting to the President and COO of the company. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of IR experience which includes representing a producing mining company; ideally a gold producer. He or she will be expected to manage the company's IR effort, which will include the following activities:

Helping to develop and maintain an excellent, high-integrity reputation for the company

Preparing and adhering to annual budgets

Arranging and managing meetings with stakeholders; fielding investor phone calls

Expanding our footprint in the financial community

Giving public presentations on behalf of the company

Preparing and managing news releases

Organizing, preparing, and attending trade shows

Preparing slideshows and other content for the company website

Maintaining a current useful database

Managing external IR programs and measuring their impacts
The company has one primary Project, the Nixon Fork mine in central Alaska. It is being re-opened this summer as a low tonnage high grade gold producer. The site has a functional ~200 tpd mill with gravity and flotation circuits. A CIL circuit was also designed, procured and partially installed for the purpose of increasing overall recovery to 96% and to reprocess gold from the existing high grade tailings pond.
This person will be able to understand the project and keep himself/herself current on progress at site for accurate reporting purposes. He or she will be well connected to the financing community and the mining community, particularly in the US and Canada. He or she will be well presented and able to represent our company with competence and confidence.
This position is based in Vancouver with some travel requirements. A competitive salary and benefits are available to the right candidate.
