MXI/IMG

MXI/IMGFirstly, thanks for your thoughts Chris-very much what I was thinking, that is to say: everyone knows this is a big deposit except the market.  Here's an unrelated angle-Iam's huge and growing pot  of cash must be making them an attractive morsel to someone.  The most recent post on the Iam thread claims that a TO of Iam is coming.
Anyone have any thoughts on how that would impact us?  My first thought is that if the attraction was the pile of cash that Iam holds then the acquirer would probably not want to turn around and reduce that cash by developing our project.
That would mean the Iam stake in Merrex would likely get sold-probably not a good thing for share price. On the other hand the MXI team might get a chance to buy the stake and perhaps the 50% of Siribaya back.  The Merrex guys have their shortcomings but dealmaking isn't one of them.  Any evolution of this nature would be hugely accretive.
M&A activity in mining is off the charts-I believe that something will happen much sooner than we think, lets hope its something positive.
