re:HumalaWell just a handful of trading days left till the new Pres gets sworn in,
Have done quite well on BCM since the fiasco began and all out for now. Ironic how these news events at times create opportunity. I think they will find a way to hand back the concession rights to BCM but for now it's a contentious area of Peru ..(Puna) that is, a radical heading that province. Hence will take some time no doubt.
SImple fact, they can I'll afford to lose roughly 40% of GDP from mining and more from related industries.
As evidence that all is as it should be with regards to this changing of the guard has been the recent takeovers of companies operating with in the country.
For us this will move on the merits of what has and is discovered further. Management has hinted already that this deposit is comparable to another with a projected mine life of 15yrs. We are still early in the drill program and like the rest of you hoping results continue to our end.
The selling has been broad yet the buying has been limited to a few, typical of smart money taking advantage of the situation imho.
Now back to the dog days of summer.
Cheers
