Drill resultsAnd, in Friday trading,
BE Resources (
TSX: V.BER,
Stock Forum) shares skyrocketed 782% to 75 cents after the micro cap explorer reported the remaining assay results from its drilling program to date at its Warm Springs project in New Mexico, which included 242 feet of 75.51% light rare earth elements (cerium, europium, lanthanum, neodymium, praseodymium, samarium) as oxides and 24.49% heavy rare earth elements (gadolinium, terbium, dysprosium, holmium, erbium, thulium, ytterbium, lutetium, yttrium) as oxides.
Isn't this incredibly misleading, to me it sounds like they just drilled 242 feet of 100% rare earths. When actually they only drilled 242 feet of .26 percent total rare earths.
I looked at the website to get some info on the previous 8 drill holes and the way the information was displayed by taking 5 foot long samples, made it seem to me that they where just trying to show the presense of rare earths.
https://www.marketwire.com/press-release/be-resources-provides-update-on-rare-earth-elements-warm-springs-project-new-mexico-tsx-venture-ber-1506461.htm I show still couldn't find drill hole dh-5.
I think this goes to show the level of interest in rare earth deposits.
