I blame Dick for...
I blame Dick for...
While it's true tricky Dick can't be blamed for everything (macro stuff), he certainly has to shoulder a vast portion of the blame for SP being this low. The CEO has to be accountable for production being at 14K at this time- it's been years and Gread Divide production is barely at 8K (he's good at giving excuses for the shortfall, I'll give him credit for that). I blame him for the handling of PDP- he had control of when to sell the assets, he could have sold PDP when SP was over $20 but he sold when SP was at $1 (or close to that). His most egregious screw-up was telling everyone Algar was fully funded and a short time thereafter going to the market for financing. Right there he should have been fired, if I did something similar where I work I would have been fired in 2 seconds, not even given time to gather my personal belongings. If Dick had any sense of valor, any humility, any sense of doing the right thing, he would have resigned after this Algar financing fiasco. Instead he's like 100 years old and running this company into the ground. Yes indeed, building shareholder value- I'm so tired of seeing that line in their company propaganda, Geobels would be proud.
