RE: RE: ValuationI hope you are right - And I do think as an acquistion target there may be a premium attached to the price - If only because it is so small overpaying will not materially impact an acquisitors results; However, I can't find an instance where any of the key potential acquisitors (Motion, AIT, Kinecor) have overpaid. Plus, those three firms are already heavily represented in Western Canada.
Kaman is interesting. They grow via acquisition and are looking at Canadian expansion. They only have a handful of branches in Canada right now.
I've slowly sold of 1/2 of my position over the past 6 weeks; Still debating on the other half. Its been a great run as I gobbled up a large amount of shares. The easy money is off the table and with the softening economy the risk profile is picking up again.
