RE: Better NR Today

RE: Better NR TodayGuys keep an eye on Happy Creek, HPY.   It is not higher grade as Hana Mining.  But slow and steady can win the race.  Read below.

Here's a legit copper junior that could start to roll any time: Happy Creek Minerals, HPY.
Properties in British Columbia, near producing or past producing mines. Near infrastructure too.

Key Points

1. HPY's Properties adjoining the Teck's Highland Valley Copper Mine, the largest in Canada.
- Teck is mining a grade of 0.26% copper +/-.
- Teck mines out of 3 pits, and has had major issues with their key pit (about 750 meters down!)
- HPY has drilled similar and better grades as to what Teck is mining.

2. HPY has identified 2 copper zones with drilling in the last few years.
- Currently drilling Zone 1 and other targets with 2 drills.
- Zone 1 drilling this year has discovered further copper zone below previous drilling.
- highlights include 95 meters of 0.67% copper with 3.62 gram gold and 100 meters of 0.35% copper with 2.2 gram silver.
- A grade near 0.26% copper is probably the bar as that is what Teck is mining (and profitting hugely).
- LOT's of holes coming this fall (they been drilling for a few months now).
- Last week a former Teck guy, Graeme Evans, came on HPY's advisory board  and Dave Kuran, involved with Eskay Creek and sale of Fronteer Gold to Newmont, came on board too.

3. HPY acquired a property called the BX Property.
- It too adjoins Teck's property and is very close to the original pit.
- The BX Property was drilled in 1969 with a 1.2 inch diameter drill. Results varied from 0.5% to 2.5% copper. It is unknown as to how much core was analysized or how much was recovered. Copper was about 65 cents a pound in 1969 and fell to about 50 cents in 1970 to 1972. So lower grades were probably not given a chance due to copper prices in that era.
- HPY will be drilling this property also this fall!

4. Tungsten property is currently being drilled.
- last year HPY trenched excellent numbers (0.49% tungsten equiv to 11.27% tungsten equiv)
- 1% tungsten is worth about $400 (or roughly 7 gram gold eq)
- It has been announced the first 2 drill holes hit Scheelite, the ore that contains tungsten. Assays are pending.
- Many more drill holes will be coming out of that property.
- Will it be a new discovery?

5. The stock has been hammered by Mineral Fields in the last few months.
- The stock sits in the 20 cents range due to aggresive selling by Mineral Fields.
- Shares were absorbed by the market.
- Mineral Fields selling doesn't make sense but that seems to be their way.

6. Market cap is about $9 million
- 45 million shares
- HPY had over $3 million at the start of exploration this season

7. HPY has other properties too
- HPY has other properties which are getting work done. These properties have very good showings too.

There is thought that HPY will prove up a certain resource and possibly sell to Teck or they will build a big resource and have a standalone? As HPY keeps hitting the grade will Teck decide to scoop these guys up? Or will another big boy (Newmont has dealt with HPY) come knocking on the door? HPY's property is prime real estate. Keep it on the radar. People playing the juniors know that results speak volumes. So if HPY produces the results then...

Note: I'm NOT telling anyone to buy as that is their decision. HPY may be an awesome oppportunity. Only time will tell.
