RE: RE: 3rd quaterThe explanation I think is a general aversion to risk brought about by uncertainty over the Euro zone and to some extent stalling recovery in North America. This aversion is not BNK specific - its pretty general.
Are current SP's justified on fundamentals ? The answer I believe is NO - the retraction in the SP's of juniors is generally way over done.
BNK still has great management - huge reserves and steady (although not spectacular) production increases.
Unfortunately investors are not impressed with slow but steady production at the moment. They want quick returns from juniors, or defensive dividend paying stocks.
However, fear not - BNK will have its day - patience is required. Be prepared to have a two year horizon.
