TD WATER HOUSE ANSWER TO SELL PRICE CAPJust got off the phone, have to say sounded fishy to me.
This morning the highest price I could place was 1.86 before the call.
When I called and asked why there was a sell price cap on the waterhouse trading platform I was told " It's to stop people from artificially manipulating positive news might be coming for the stock." I told him "why can I short a stock and artificially give the impression negative news might be coming on the stock" He didn't have an answer. said "those are the rules". Then I asked if I can make it higher then 1.86? and they put it in at 3.00 but would not go 7.
So you know I'm not lying, 51,500 shares at 3.00 price held till friday. you can check if your platform allows it.
Thats it, all I could get out of them.
