Grades

GradesFrom the company’s web site:

Production

"Historic commercial production dates from the early 1990's. Between 1993 and 2003, previous operators produced averages of 277.5 g/t Ag and 3.75 g/t Au, with production rates averaging 230 t/d. Production rates dropped off between 2004 and mine shut down in 2008, primarily due to lack of mine development. Silvermex is of strong opinion that production rates and grade values can be elevated closer to historical levels and is now implementing efficiencies at La Guitarra to achieve this objective."

Based on current Gold/Silver ratio of 53/1, I calculate a historic Silver equivalent of 476 grams per ton. It concerns me that the grades pulled from these holes are generally below that. Any thoughts?
