Lindgren is the trash talker on FParticle.
He says out of one side of his mouth that JS is not formally trained as a patent lawyer----then the author of the article mentions that Lindgren worked for a TI as a patent lawyer for 20 years and that was his qualification.
As a member of the Bar for many years, there is no special patent litigator course that one can take at law school to "formally" train you as a patent lawyer. There is an intellectual property course that will introduce you to the topic and likely JS and Lindgren both took that.
The real training to be a patent lawyer occurs after law school when you start working for TI or MSD or WIN. You gain experience in patents and in litigation over patents over years--that is the training. Lindgren has no advantage in that area and Skip has no disadvantage in that area.
But to say that Skip has no formal training in patent litigation is a blatant statement designed to mislead and make the reader think less of Mr. Skippen.
Ever hear of defamation b/c after all is said and done there is liable to one of those in Mr. Lindgren's future if he continues down this track of deliberately misleading the public.
