RE: Marifil Expands Lithium Holdings in Catamarca

RE: Marifil Expands Lithium Holdings in CatamarcaI was happy with the wording of the news release. To me it hopefully symbolizes the company's realization that we need to do some 'value-added' work before signing these agreements. It sounds like they've had some interest/offers for partnerships, but for once are actually sitting back and thinking of whether or not we'll be best served by drilling first to attract better partners and to have more bargaining power. Signing on with junior partners with little ability to raise cash in this environment is a bad idea. Nevermind the fact that they also offer little expertise usually. I'm glad they didn't jump on the first offer they received.
My talk with the company last week convinced me that they were finally willing to play 'the game' and were looking at unlocking value for shareholders somehow, not just advancing jv deals and acquiring more land. I know Hite doesn't believe in flashy PR, but I think he's starting to realize that being a good geologist doesn't necessarily make for good returns in the market.
I'd love to see them drill the lithium and potash first, even if its just a few holes each. If something's there, we'd own 100% and would see a sharp rise in the shareprice. From there, we could raise cash without major dillution to drill more, or get a better partner.
