Garilou way way off baseWIN patents have been cherry picked from many different portfolios. Most of them are in the hot areas of 4G, and LTE which is exactly what the big guys want.
Just b/c someone has 5000 or 10000 patents does not mean that their portoflio is more valuable-far from it.
Its like having 1500 hockey players in your farm system and at the NHL level. the ones at the top are the Gretzkys, the Halls, the Sedins and the ones at the bottom are the stiffs. WIN has 1500 NHL level player b/c that is what they went after and esp so in the old days when they were allowed into Nokia's and Glenayre's(among others) patent room. they didn't take everything that was there, just what would sell for a good profit to prospective licensees.
