Updates... Hey guys,
I emailed investor relations at ATG and got answers (very quickly) to a number of my concerns... I thought I'd share to any existing/potential investors on here:
*. The first tranche of the PP has now been closed. Funds have been raised although I don’t know the final figure. There were indeed expressions of interest but undoubtedly like many other juniors, ATG has been hit by the current economic environment. Raising investment capital at the moment is proving hard for all companies.
*. I would agree that ATG is undervalued and continue to remain perplexed by this. Given the situation, Warren Holmes, Interim CEO, is presently dedicating considerable time to speaking with the Financial Community to include Analysts, Bankers and Retail Brokers. In this way, we hope that the Atlanta Gold story will become better understood.
*. Regrettably, the issues surrounding the Boise River and Idaho Conservation League remain ongoing. Given however that there is no scientific evidence that recent drilling by ATG is accountable for any registered increase in pollution, it is difficult to argue that the Company has violated its permits. Additionally, Atlanta Gold has spent considerable time on redevising its strategy in response to local community opposition moving towards a mini open pit/ underground mining scenario. Added to this, Ernie Simmons, VP of Exploration, also speaks on a regular basis to the Forest Service and other environmental groups to have built up a regular and constructive dialogue.
*. Indeed, I recognise that the stock has been diluted and this poses a concern for all investors. Unfortunately, stock dilution is an inevitable consequence as a result of bringing an exploration company into production. The Company will be updating its NI 43 101 early next year which will add further value. Additionally, results of the 2011 drilling program are looking positive for which further news releases will be issued in the very near future.
