Why wouldn't SHP have bought out CQV in the first place?  To buy then out would simply be buying their own shares back now?  Sorry, but that sounds mighty far fetched to me.  They've dealt with CQV.

Because...

  1. The done deal resulted in a crash of CIVC share price which provided the opportunity for those in the know to pick up CIVC shares really cheap. Trading CIVC is where the money is in the short term. A buyout of SPE from a big player, if that's the way it goes, won't be for some time.
  2. Because CIVC insiders have to make their money on their options. Tina Rickets won't be bringing much to the party with what she owns right now. I believe CIVC will be properly taken care of.
I'm obviously not saying that this WILL happen because I simply don't know. I'm saying that it COULD happen and I know what to look for IF it might be happening.
