I bought an initial position in PXL today. when was the last time anyone mentioned a heavy oil producer?  these guys are cheap, very well managed, very good numbers and again just moved from 800 boe to 2050 boe/d for a 2011 exit rate. Heavy oil is still one of the best spaces to invest in based on total return. PXL is run by the former CEO of Innova - the first Canadian company to drill in the Bakken. Hopefully it can stand out from the crowd based on being one of the few ways to play the space, as well as being a successful producer.

I also bought some HYX a cardium play and AXL a nice turnaround story.
