Most of the time people buy thinking there are other even bigger morons who will buy the shares they just bought at a higher price, preferably within the next few minutes. but invariably, most get stuck with shares that they overpaid for. Luckily for those buyers today, someone was prepared to sell into the "BNN effect", so they shouldn't lose anything. It is still dumb.
