I suggest you re read my post. I said that CPG are financial engineers, and not oil finders and developers. CPG are close to hitting the wall and at some point, will fall off the acquisition tread mill they are on in order to replace their rapidly declining reserves. Like I said, CPG would have to be the only bidder, and at a fire sale price for the acquisition of ARN to be accretive for them. At best, I believe CPG will make a profit on their position in ARN, but will not acquire them. CPG and others will first go after other "low hanging fruit", which are all the "johny come lately's" to the Swan Hills. Investment bankers would have more leverage getting behind ARN as an acquisitor, than backing CPG or PFG to take out ARN. It is really all about the money and where the real opportunity is to make lots more.
