AM biggest shareholder Michael Blair is the biggest shareholder with about 4.3 million shres. So far he hasn't sold any.
Second biggest is Scotia Merchant Capital Corp (a unit 100% owned by Bank of Nova Scotia. In the last months, they have sold regularly, in an orderly fashion, a few hundred thousands, indicating they don't sell because bad news are coming.
They are not ready to sell at any price. Yesterday they sold only 11,200 shres and today (feb 15th) they sold only 5,200. All at price over $2.61
The recent action of AM is normal behaviour for any stock that is up 170 % over a year ago
I bot a few thousands today. It is the biggest position of my portfolio along with Boralex (BLX-t)

Here is what you wrote last october (4 months ago) when AM was $1.65
" They are in a very precarious position in that they sell product to car manufacturers. If the market decline is predicting a recession in the US, car makers get taken out to the woodshed far worse than other industries. It would impact their business severely. The risk reward here just doesn't make sense even with the yield. Dividends can easily be cut or stopped......................................... "
