Mosaid rushed to sign a deal with Nokia re: the Core deal to fend off Wi-LAN's hostile bid. The agreement is probably full of holes, performance clauses etc. There could be many ways to disolve that relationship including the assignment of the patents leaving Wi-LAN as the partner with Microsoft in that Core deal.
