RE: RE: RE: Yes = From Horses Mouth

Kaosblues; I essentially agree with your comments and conclusions. Indeed, I do consider myself a "sucker" due to the outcome of lfd. My vote for the deal was virtually a toss-up and perhaps I was duped yet again by misleading company statements. I was concerned about the "contingent assignment" of the Chia property back to the krg with no compensation or other options to the shareholders if the NO vote prevailed. If this was not the case, then we have all been duped by the management group.

I would tend to agree with other posters, that those active here represent a very small % of the shares and consequently most  comments posted on this board have virtually no effect on future events. For me, I am sick of the management group and have no interest in any future investment which they will be involved. Obviously, with the large recent trading volumes others do not share this concern (or something sinister is afoot with the Salida Group?

I share your concern about accounting. LFD had over $63 million available from initial working capital and financings. It looks like they paid $20 million in signing bonuses and maybe $3-4 million in seismic and yet could not pay other obligations of psc or drill 2 wells. Overseas ops are expensive, but admin costs were also shared with sister companies. The numbers in their posted MD&A documents are virtually impossible to deicipher, but this is by no means my area of expertise. On the other hand, I understand technical data and yet still find any staements by this group to be confusing at the least.
