official company statement on dharoor progress

official company statement on dharoor progress

Range Resources, an Australian exploration company in Somalia’s Puntland federal state, has released a recent RNS for investors and the public, citing new depths of over 2,000 meters below the surface.

The following excerpt was part of the official release.

Most of the sandstone intervals in this section have exhibited oil and gas shows confirming the existence of a working petroleum system.
The statement above confirms our previous leaks and reports that hydrocarbons have been encountered, and that the public was only waiting on confirmation from the exploration companies and regional leaders. David Grellman, President and CEO of joint-operator Horn Petroleum had this to say.

While we are encouraged by the hydrocarbon shows in the well, there is still a great deal of information which must be collected before we are able to properly evaluate the results to date. We look forward to reaching the main objectives and appreciate the continued support of the Puntland Government and the local residents.
Grellman additionally confirms information we received from Somalia the past two days that caused excitement across the Puntland region. As was previously known, a tight lip is being kept on further details, but what is now official and public information only scratches the surface of the sum of details on this project.
