RE: Sonny Right now I could say "I Rest My Case". This is an example of what I'm talking about and I'm not going to put much effort into defending my belief. In some cases there has been blatent pumping and now lets say that offsets some blatent whining and bashing. What everyone needs to look at is logical thinking and then gather up some patience and wait to see what happens.
I think I must be like everyone else so being down 20% on an investment doesn't really make me feel all warm and fuzzy either, and I know that others are in a worse position as the share price stands right now. Question is: Do you believe in the play? If not, then do some damage control and get out but realize that stock market investing is not like going to the A&W where you place an order into the speaker for shares, then drive to the window to pick up a bathtub full of cash.
If hatred has to be a part of it then, in a nutshell, who is at fault? As the operator, Legacy designed the drilling and completion programs and carried them out and now, here we are. It was their spending that took the costs where they they are. So What? It's growing pains and now they all agree that because of what they learned on the two wells the well costs should come down and well production should should come from improved well stimulation processes. I fault Legacy, if you want to call it that, but I feel more like sympathy for them but not any kind of hatred. Investors should pick one positive thing with the JV and build on that. Look forward to the new drilling program for 2012 at the very least.
There is the power of suggestion or laws of attraction, or, you get what you wish for. Try some of that. With all thoughts of 'I dont like this and I don't like that and where's my cash?, where's my cash?, where's my cash?, and I don't like those and I don't like these".........it's unhealthy and going backwards, non productive; and it's probably the root cause of Jerry Springer like banter about pub tables and such. A belief is only a thought that we keep thinking, so try looking for that one bright spot and build on that. It'll go better for everyone. If the shorters bet burnt and feel pain from that, then I'll call that a bonus at the end of the day.
This is a generic post and not targeting any one in particular. I learned a long time ago that one monkey doesn't run a show and a brilliant point of view can often come from what appears to be a most unlikely source. Everyone expresses a point of view, but for anyone to rave on and on about something just doesn't do anything to serve any purpose.
