Fungi, in my opinion this is a big part of the problem. People like you (and I think you are a member of the company executive but don't care to prove it) underestimate the high level of skills required to run a successful mining operation. you see miners as "grunts" and treat them accordingly. You should work in a mine for a year or two so you see what actually goes on and see the challenges these people face every day. They do not earn their living with their mouth, they do it with hard work, sweat and a heck of a lot of experience.

 

Change your attitued towards miners and you will be much more successful.
