And merv' responseOX Snapshot | OX Forum | BullBoards Main Posted By Subject Post Time (EST) Post ID merv (ID#: 6703) Goldboro Property 4/10/00 20:12 1310523 « Previous Message Next Message » As for news I have heard nothing concrete abou financing as I am "out of the loop" these days but I will try and dig up some information from some contacts. The last estimate I heard was 30 million tonnes at 3 grams. This was estimated to a depth of 400 meters along a strike length of approximately 1.5 kilometers. The ore body remains open at depth and along strike East and West. The property holds potential as good as many I have seen but until somebody goes in and takes a large bulk sample the grade will always be in question. One also has to remember that the Goldboro property is only one of many within a very small area, all of which have been producers in the past (expansion possibilities). As for pipelines, two already cross the property approximately 1 km West of the Boston-Richardson shaft. One is a 36 inch natural gas line and the other an 8 inch natural gas liquids line. These lines are both a blessing and a curse as they confine operations in the central part of the claim block but also promise a cheap source of energy to any industrial operation. There is a bypass option in place where gas is 23% cheaper in the Goldboro area than anywhere else. Anyway I will keep digging. Merv
