RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: DD: INVESTORS BUSINESS DAILY & Their standard of living is lower, but their costs are far lower, therefore they are able to make goods cheaper and sell them to us a much higher prices. This in turn breeds a larger middle class. Take 10% of the Indian population and put them in the middle class now, and that is 3X the total Canadain population and over 1/3 of the American population. Do the same for China, and you have a large group of people. And their increasing. One day our children may be answering to their Chinese or Indian owners and bosses. We may have to speak Chinese or Indian one day, not them having to speak our language. What better way to communicate than by using a good translator. Don't put your head in the sand. This is happening already, go to Dollarama, many of our liquidation outlets, many of our retail stores run by American companies and we see their goods which we are buying. We buy them because they much cheaper for us, but we are supporting their economies , not ours. Have a look around at the number of Canadian companies that are using third world countries to make goods or run services for them. We are seeing the erosion of our economies, and as a result, our children may be working for them.
