RE: RE: RE: Cook's views who the f'cares What surprises me about the gold market is that the Europeans themselves are not driving up the price. That continent has 300 million people who's are two/three generations away from two World Wars and a Great Depression. Europeans believe in gold as a store of wealth. If the general population, especially the well to do, believe that the banks will fail and the Euro goes the way of the Dodo, should be buying gold by the fistful.
