RE: Tomorrow Never Knows "Were some of you hippies like Chuck and exylo around back in the 60's? Was Yellow around as an organization? Did it survive the inflationary 70's and the "Death of Equities" proclamation by Business Week in August 1979? Did you know what the future would hold?"
Back then Northern Electric/Northern Telecom/Nortel was groovy. What innovators..What leaders. They owned the world of telephones. They were the pioneers of communications going from analog to digital, and they were right. They broke ranks with the clunky black 500 series and introduced modern hip light weight ergonomically designed phones like the Princess. They commanded 1/3 of the money flow for the whole TSX. If they ever ran into problems (How could they?) the Canadian government would rescue them because they were just to big to fail. Now there was a safe investment you could put in a shoebox and forget about till retirement.
Good thing this new generation is so smart that they do not have to learn, listen or think. You should all be millionaires in no time.
