RE: RE: Something is up?

>>>>December 3: This hidden press release is so well hid that it was no longer on the Claude web site as of this morning. What did it say?<<<<

.

I guess I wasn't so clear when I wrote "hidden press release?"  You were the second to ask.

.

I was trying to be polite & fun.  I labeled the PR as "hidden" because nothing was there but the link tags.  If I knew what it said then it would not have been "hidden."  I guess one explanation could be that there was pending news and someone created the links as a "placeholder" that would get filled in with the data?  Maybe someone was going on vacation and left a template for a junior staffer, who accidentally made the placeholder live?  Maybe CRJ was in talks with Newmont to buy out the company and the PR was all ready to go for publication over the weekend until the deal fell through at the last minute?

.

Next time I'll just rail on how bad management is at keeping its website - they post links that have nothing attached.  Wonder why they can't do simple operations like managing a website or hiring a decent consultant to provide upkeep?  More examples of how McMillan is a "barn burner" of a manager?  Maybe he can apologize and thump his chest again about his 20-year career of running a gold producer at under 100,000 opy!  Jeez, in 20-years he hasn't been able to figure out how to grow the company any faster?  And that after POG took off in 2005? Maybe it is time for management to retire or get bought out so someone who wants to be a 100,000 opy producer can get things moving FAST, before inflation knocks Operating Costs for a loop and margins back down to the 100- 200 range.  Oh wait!  That is about the level of CRJ's margins now... while most decent sized producers have 500 to 800/oz margins.  OK, rant off.  Now I feel better....
