PBS television special

PBS television special

anybody watch the pbs television special shown last night on the pebble project?

It tried to be unbiased in my opinion but was failed at this

portrayed ndm as being evasive and misleading in their reporting of their studies

show was heavily biased in favour of the naturalist salmon arguement and I came away from the show feeling guilty for even owning this stock.....made you feel that if you own ndm you are in favour of poisoning the entire salmon industry of Alaska

It also made a point of stating that the the EPA in the US had the power to shut the whole thing down based on water environmental protection

On a more postive note interviews of emplyees working for the Alaskan goverment who will be looking over all the studies ndm have produced stated clearly that if ndm fullfills all the environmental demands outlined by the state of Alaska then permitting is pretty well assured.

It sounds to me as though the whole thing is going to wind up in the supreme court with the state of Alaska going against the EPA

will probably take years
