RE: RE: ARU VS GQC No 2 deposits are exactly the same, so it is not very helpful throwing out comparisons just because particular aspects seem similar. A couple of important points to keep in mind about drilling to date: 1) the first 3 holes by GQC on Romero were vertical holes. This is very significant for the potential size of the deposit, as compared to the angled holes drilled by Aurelian on Fruta del Norte. Not that angled holes are a bad thing as it is usually the type of drilling you would expect to see because deposits are not usually as uniform as Romero has shown to date. 2) The copper content in the these first 3 holes is very significant - most primary copper mines do not have grades over 1%. For this mine, copper will be a very significant credit, and now it appears zinc will also be a significant credit. Fruta del Norte has some silver, but very insignificant amounts.
It is still early days for Romero, so we do not know how large the footprint will be, but in trying to compare the early drill holes of Romero and Fruta del Norte, I would suggest the drill holes on Romero have been even more rich.
