RE: RE: Countdown is on....

RE: RE: Countdown is on....

I'll be there!...one note of caution re: the house position stats....they do not/did not necessarily have to accumulate the shares through the facilities of the various exchanges.

They, whoever "they" are, very well may have accumulated shares via private transaction and if in large enough quantity, likely at a discount to market.  They may be unloading shares taking profits or perhaps that was part of the deal when they acquired them/continue to acquire them, if in fact this has been some sort of "capping"  market manipulation strategy, as many on this board have suggested in the past, including the all powerful Schiff.

I guess my point is really just that in most cases these figures can be reliable indicators and prove to be useful.  However, if you reside in the camp that believes this puppy has been, and continues to be capped, the scheme likely runs much deeper than what is disclosed to the general public.   They may never run out of shares until whoever is behind the scheme decides to stop offering them, whether privately or through the exchange....same goes for any other houses employing the same practice.

Whomever is behind the scheme, if such a scheme is afoot, could very easily change houses they employ the strategy through as frequently as they so desired.  This would help them further disguise the strategy and avoid detection as well....
