RE: BNN

RE: BNN

Just looked up RIO after it got a mention on BNN.  Wanted to know what the market cap was and compare it to another stock I hold.  So if I understand this correctly, you have 2 billion pounds of copper and 3.? million ounces of gold and a $900 million market cap?  Is that correct?  If so, you must be in production then right?

The company I like to compare with is NKL, Prophecy Platinum.  They have 12 M oz of PGMs, and 5 billion pounds of Ni+Cu+Co, and a $100 Million dollar market cap.  They are in the Yukon.  Put out a PEA this summer with a $2.4B NPV and a 32% IRR (8% discount).  For what it is worth.  But if you are a producer, then I guess I can't really compare value to value.

Platinum is closing fast on the price of gold, so I don't consider the two metals to be that far apart.  Platinum is around $1640 now.
