I thought you didn't trust what IR would tell you over the phone? But you will trust information that a poster gives you that they got from IR over the phone. So second hand information from IR is what you consider to be trustworthy and dependable. Perhaps the problem lies elswhere like:

 A) You can't afford a long distance call

B) The phone is to high on the wall for you to reach it.

C) Your broker, the one who gets all the inside information from DEC has lost their number.

D) People on your plant don't believe in phones.
