St. Elias Mines Ltd. Acquires Strategic Claims On Mars
Vancouver, B.C. October 12, 2012 Lori McClenahan, President of St. Elias Mines Ltd. (SLI – TSX:V) (“St. Elias” or the “Company“), is pleased to announce that the Company has acquired six strategic mineral claims surrounding the Mars Rover.
Mars Claims
Exploration results from the Mars Rover to date have shown Mars to be permissive for the expansion of possible gold mineralized zones both on strike and to depth as well as the potential discovery of additional gold mineralization. In that regard, the Company has staked six Mars Claims (M1, M2, M3, M4, M5 and M6) surrounding the Mars Rover. With the addition of the Mars Claims, the company holds strategic lands covering 4,360 acres of prospective gold-bearing Martian lands.
