The CIBC report was out before the market was open yesterday which makes you wonder how much thought went into the report. He may have dropped the target to $1.75 but in the same breath he had this to say.

 

"Lake Shore Gold has experienced some operational challenges since declaring commercial production at the Timmins mine. However, with the potential of three operating mines and a centralized mill in the
Timmins area, LSG could have one of the highest production growth rates in our universe. We believe
valuation is also backstopped by LSG's large resource base, which is one of the biggest among Canadian peers."

Go figure,
