RE: RE: RE: Valuations - OER vs MMT BlindBat, good analysis as usual, would quibble with you on some points but with OER having only 16% of MMT market cap but 50% of the production, I think that more than compensates for some of the differences you have pointed out.
Two other points;
OER has access to all the resources of a very powerful and well connected parent company.
OER does not need an indigenous partner (who needs to be carried) to get into these marginal field plays.
Let's face it, these are two very interesting companies and as they grow side by side (and there is plenty of room for both in Nigeria) then they will generate twice the market attention.

LOL! No beef with me and I always enjoy a good exchange of idea as long as it stays civilized. Rest assure that I am in no way trying to promote Mart over OER - I'm just thinking out loud what I perceive about OER, which might not be 100% correct - hence this forum provides an avenue to bounce ideas and thoughts.
Now my turn to nitpick!
4000 (OER) into 12000(Mart) is not 50% - LOL!, so lets call a spade a spade....and I'll even throw a round number , say 35% .
However truth be told that is NOT what interest me with OER, what is of interest is their ability to prove Mart's UMU field and Their field as a big pond of OIL, which EB 5 should confirm and confirm they are both tapping the same or similar sands at various level.....hence both would benefit from a succesfull EB 5, if not in production immediately, in Proven Reserve !!
That's the prize that I'm interested in , for the short term.
No argument that OER has access to a power house, which I like very very much.
True about their ability to compete in the marginal fields directly, fully granted - hence why I also like the play.....
Now if they could only release their financials, md&a and go for a second offering , if all 3 were to my liking - well we would be singing in a choir....I want in , but there is always an if to me entering a play, and it starts wih indepth Due Diligence - which at this stage is missing some pieces and the stock is too illiquid for my liking right now.
But no beef with me, I trust OER if they play this right certainly is something to watch.......
