Petronas and XOM Deals

Despite the current uncertainty about PRQ, I do expect that both Petronas and XOM deal will be approved finally. Canada just wants to increase the current net benefit although the Canadian energy companies (the nat gas weighted actually) already trade with a very high premium in comparison with the american peers like BBG, WPX as the article of SeekingAlpha below notes:

I think the Canadian OIL companies have to rise to match the US-based peers.
