Andina Minerals Another gold deposit sells, this time right next door to Peru. A while back I compared Andina Minerals with SLI. Andina has about 17 million ounces (higher end of low grade - 0.7g/t) total with 6 million proven and probable. And they sold for 100 million. Why so cheap? They were broke and either had to dilute their shareholders to forward the company or sell. Sound familiar? At least they had something to sell.
Vilcoro's conceptual 2 million ounce deposit at 0.25g/t should be worth well over a hundred million according to posters on this board. Look above for a dose of reality. Oh, and the conceptual world class deposit on Tesoro? At one time those 4460 ounces were worth three times what an actual 17 million ounce deposit sold for today.
